What’s new across VS Labs

This week we shipped design and setup improvements across QuiQR, Blueprint and Zonal — plus storefront polish on Wysh and steadier image handling in SmartAlt. Under the bonnet, several apps picked up the usual secure and reliable maintenance.

QuiQR 1.33.0

QR codes should look as sharp as the campaign behind them. QuiQR now offers richer design options so you can build more vibrant, eye-catching codes for print and in-store use.

Behind the scenes, dependency updates keep generation and analytics steady.

Wysh 2.39.2

Wishlist buttons and product cards need to behave when shoppers change variants. Wysh now updates wishlist product card images when the variant changes, and we fixed a product-page layout issue so the wishlist control sits correctly.

Storefront CSS loads in a way that is less likely to block first paint. Rename is hidden when multiple wishlists are off, and create/rename validation messages are translated for storefront shoppers.

Blueprint 2.22.0

Complex configurators take time to wire from scratch. Blueprint now includes pre-built template logic so merchants can stand up richer product customisers more quickly.

We fixed image mode layouts, stopped App Proxy 404s on non-default storefront locales, and earlier in the week moved the storefront onto a more efficient JavaScript component approach — with fixes for long option names overflowing and loading overlays when scrolled.

Zonal 0.20.0

Shipping configs drift. Zonal now has a resync control so you can refresh shipping configuration without raising a ticket.

Processing-days validation errors show clearly on the shipping rate form, the rate modal text field sizing is corrected, and missing translations are filled in. Prefetch and GraphQL shipping-zone work keep rate calculation leaner under load.

SmartAlt 2.30.2

Large or awkward images should not take the alt-text pipeline down. SmartAlt now clamps raster dimensions when converting SVG to PNG, which stops memory blow-ups during conversion, and we tightened max dimensions so bulk jobs stay dependable.
