How to use AI image generation in QuiQR Design Studio

QuiQR Design Studio brings campaign artwork and QR placement into one workflow. On Premier, you can generate an image from a prompt, then position your existing QR code over the result. You can also upload your own background.

The QR stays a separate, functional element of the design. Generate the artwork first, then use the placement controls to size and position the code.

Before you start

Have a QR code ready with the destination you want shoppers to open. Decide whether the artwork is for a portrait sign, landscape display or another printed placement. AI image generation is included in Premier and uses the allowance displayed in Design Studio for your billing period.

1. Describe the campaign image

Open QR Design Studio and describe the background you need. Be specific about the subject, setting, colours, mood and where the QR should sit. For example: “A calm botanical illustration for a skincare counter card, dark navy background, soft green accents and a clear area on the right for the QR code.”

Keep product details and printed offers accurate. The artwork should support the campaign’s promise rather than invent products, claims or discounts.

2. Add references or use your own image

The studio supports up to three reference uploads in JPG, PNG or WebP format. Use references to guide the visual direction. If you already have approved campaign artwork, upload it as the background instead of generating a new image.

3. Choose a style and format

Use the available style and portrait or landscape options to match the intended placement. Review the generated image before committing to it. Check product details, accidental lettering and any visual elements that could confuse the offer.

4. Position the QR code

Use the studio’s placement controls to move and size your QR code within the artwork. Leave clear space around it and choose an area with strong contrast. Keep it away from busy details, page edges and areas that will be folded or trimmed.

5. Download and test the final design

Download the completed design using the available export control. Scan the exported file, then print a proof at the intended size and test it with more than one phone. Check the destination, selected products, variants and discount where relevant.

Confirm that the exported image has enough resolution for your intended print size. A successful scan on screen does not replace testing the actual printed material.

Keep the campaign consistent

Saved QR style templates are included in Core and Premier. Use them to repeat your colours, patterns and logo choices across future codes. Bulk creation and bulk downloads can help when a campaign also needs individual product codes.
