How it works
This workflow runs when a shopper removes an item from a wishlist in Wysh. It sends an Item removed from wishlist event to the shopper's Klaviyo profile immediately.
The event includes the wishlist name and ID, removal date, product name and ID, product URL, image, category, collections, vendor, currency and current stock.
Before you start
- Install Shopify Flow, Wysh and Klaviyo.
- Connect Klaviyo to Shopify Flow.
- Keep your Klaviyo public API key to hand. The downloaded workflow leaves this field blank.
Install the workflow
- Download the ZIP and extract
wysh_klaviyo_wishlist_item_removed.flow. - In Shopify Flow, choose Import workflow.
- Select the extracted
.flowfile. - Open the Klaviyo action and add your public API key.
- Review the event and property mappings, then save without switching the workflow on.
Customise the workflow
The default event name is Item removed from wishlist. You can rename it or remove properties you do not need, but keep the customer email mapping and update any dependent Klaviyo flows or segments.
Enable and test
- Use a test customer with an email address and add a product to a Wysh wishlist.
- Remove the product from My Wishlist or My Lists.
- Check the Shopify Flow run and confirm the event appears on the correct Klaviyo profile.
- Verify the wishlist and product properties before turning the workflow on.
Use the event in Klaviyo
Use the event to exclude removed products from reminders, measure wishlist engagement, or build segments based on recent removals.
Troubleshooting
- No event: confirm the public API key, Flow connection and customer email address.
- Missing product data: check that the product still exists and review the Flow run output.
- Unexpected event name: check the Klaviyo action and any dependent automation.
